cpthornПід час саміту в Англії лідери Великої сімки анонсували західну альтернативу китайській програмі "Belt and road", що стало ініціативою США. Країнам з низькими та середніми доходами в Африці, Південній Америці, Азії та Європі до 2035 року виділять сотні мільярдів доларів на розбудову інфраструктури. Це робиться для того щоб зменшити різницю в доходах між багатими і бідними країнами, підтримати розвиток демократії та зменшити зростаючий вплив тоталітарного Китаю.

G7 backs Biden infrastructure plan to rival China’s belt and road initiative.
The officials said its “Build Back Better World” (B3W) would be “an ambitious new global infrastructure initiative with our G7 partners that won’t just be an alternative to [China’s belt and road initiative].”
The plan would involve raising hundreds of billions in public and private money to help close a $40tn infrastructure gap in needy countries by 2035, the official said.
